I am currently enrolled in the Bachelor of Science in Nursing program at University of British Columbia Okanagan. I have always known that I wanted to work in the medical field, and nursing seemed to fit my values best. I want my career to revolve around helping others, which is why nursing is the best choice for me. In my fourth year I am planning to study abroad in a third-world country. I am so excited and hopeful for this experience, knowing that I will learn so much and make true connections with both clients and colleagues.

I am currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in science. I am in the Pre-Medicine program at the University of Winnipeg. I hope to complete my 3-year degree and apply to medical school. My goal is to become a doctor so I can help people. Throughout my degree, I plan on volunteering as much as possible. I would like to give back to the rural communities of Manitoba through health care. This award will help me pursue my goal of giving back.
